Henning Kornbrekke
Henning was born in New York, lived in Connecticut for 25 years, and began his move to Arizona 22 years ago. Over the years, he had the opportunity to know Desert Mountain and all it has to offer.
He earned degrees in engineering and business and has had an extensive career in general management. He is noted to be a team-building, high-energy, results-oriented leader with strong skills in establishing a vision, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
He has played critical roles at United Technologies (various management positions), Group President for Stanley Black & Decker, Rexam International's CEO, and Gibraltar Industries President and COO. He is most proud of the role he played in rejuvenating the Country Club of Buffalo, one of the oldest country clubs in the nation. Today CCB offers state-of-the-art golf and facilities 2nd to none.
He has further amplified his leadership and team-building experiences by serving as a Director on the following boards: Tunxis Foundation(Chairman), American Red Cross, American Management Assoc, Manufacturers Alliance, Building Products Manufacturers Association (Chairman), University of Hartford (trustee), Univera ( Blue Cross/Blue Shield), Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, Portside HOA and National Hardware, Country Club of Buffalo.
He lives in the Village of Lone Mountain II with his wife Beth. They have three sons and two grandchildren who live on the East Coast. He looks forward to serving on the Board, helping to establish a 10-year vision for our community that ensures the continued success of Desert Mountain as one of the most elite communities in the country. Strategic planning and annual operating plans will provide the forecasted outcomes and protect the investment we’ve all made in this beautiful community.
