Mike Dings, Treasurer

Mike and his wife Ann joined Desert Mountain in January 2011 and purchased their home in Apache Peak in March 2011.  His entire family has been coming to the Sonoran Desert since 2000 spending two weeks a year at the Rancho de Los Caballeros in Wickenburg, AZ.   They fell in love with the beauty of the desert and the perfect climate and made it their goal to retire here.   Presently, Mike and Ann spend approximately nine (9) months a year at Desert Mountain.

 Dings, MikeMike retired from Ernst & Young LLP in December 2014 after 33 years with the Firm.  Mike was an International Tax Partner and spent his entire career serving large, complex multi-national companies across Upstate New York (Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY; and Syracuse, NY) and in Pittsburgh, PA.  During his career, Mike was the Managing Partner of the Upstate New York audit, tax and advisory practice and the Tax Leader of Upstate New York, Pittsburgh, PA and Charleston, WV.

 Current board affiliations include Madden School of Business at LeMoyne College and the Accounting Advisory Board at LeMoyne College.   Mike is also the current Treasurer of the Parker Commons Homeowners Association, Inc. in Hamburg, NY and a director of the Desert Mountain Helping Hands organization.  Previous affiliations include Board Member – Desert Mountain Master Association from 2016 through 2018; Trustee – LeMoyne College; the Buffalo/Niagara Partnership (equivalent of the Chamber of Commerce); Buffalo/Niagara Enterprise (equivalent of the economic development council); Canisius College Accounting Advisory Board and Treasurer of the Museum of Science and Technology.  Mike and Ann are also members at Orchard Park Country Club in Orchard Park, NY.
