Mike Klonoski, President
Mike and his wife Joanne acquired their Grey Fox home in 2005 and have enjoyed being full-time residents for the last four years.
Mike had served on the DMMA Board for approximately a year, including being Chairman of the Design Review Committee, when he resigned to focus on caring for his wife during a serious illness. With that gratefully behind them, he hopes to put his talents and energies to work again on behalf of the Community. Mike has also served a three-year term on the Desert Mountain Club Board, sitting on the Golf, Membership and Disciplinary Committees. Additionally, he was active on the ad hoc committees for the sale of Parcel 19, the sale of the real estate business and the search for the Director of Golf. Prior to that he was elected to the Club Advisory Board and assisted in negotiations during the turnover of the Club to the members. His past experiences will contribute to an increasingly synergistic relationship between the DMMA Board and the Club Board.
Mike brings considerable expertise in construction and facilities management, with over forty years’ experience in real estate investment and construction in the Midwest and Phoenix areas as CEO of his own firm. As President of a top-100 golf club in Chicago, Mike oversaw a $15 million golf course and clubhouse renovation with Fazio golf.
Mike has been coming to the Valley for a long time, having graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Urban Planning and Economics. Mike is a true believer that Desert Mountain is the finest community of its kind and is committed to contributing to its continued success and prosperity.
